EDITORIAL UPDATE
This story was highlighted originally in June of 2021. A great place that gained a reputation as “dog friendly” and a place to pick up a nice pastry, sandwich, or soup. I wish I could compliment the coffee–but others liked it.
Central Bath, and the folk dependent on the Liberty Street sloth of business for eating will miss it. Best of luck to Jackie & Kelly in whatever life brings them next. What follows is their Facebook Page explanation.

ORIGINAL STORY
I am sure that many of us had wondered for quite a while what was happening with the prospective Park Café bakery business locating next to Liberty Street Pub. Months came and went as we waited for the brown butcher paper to be removed from the windows. Then more time passed–and quite a few people mused that this was going to be a “nothing burger” or more appropriately in this case, a nothing cake…
Happily, this is not proven to be the case. Owners Jackie Nemes and her mother Kelly Nadler have come through with a real gem for downtown. Boasting a menu of beautiful sweet baked goods, tasty fresh bread, great coffee, and even special dog treats— Park Café has become an immediate hit in the village.
The inspiration for Park Café spans two generations— her father and her mother, who is co-owner. This is the idea of building community through business. That’s what Liberty Street should always be about.
Please visit their website or Facebook page for more information, and let’s welcome this exciting new business!
